Provincial MEL Officer (2) - Luapula (Mansa) and Western (Mongu)
Principle Accountability
The Provincial MEL Officer will coordinate Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning function at the Provincial level. The role will work in collaboration with the Regional Programme Officers, District Programme Officers and Government Ministries for compliance and accountability.
Specific Accountabilities
· Developing and implementing MERL strategies and frameworks
· Conducting data collection, analysis, and reporting
· Providing technical assistance and oversight on MERL activities
· Building capacity of staff and partners in MERL
· Analyzing qualitative and quantitative data
· Developing and managing MERL systems and tools
Person Specification
· A demonstrated commitment to CAMFED’s values including safeguarding and equity and to achieving CAMFED’s mission
· Ability to work effectively with colleagues from a range of functions and countries
· Proactivity, efficiency and attention to detail.
Essential
· Bachelor’s or master’s degree in relevant fields such as social sciences, statistics, or project management
· Experience in MERL, data analysis, and reporting
· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
· Excellent communication and writing skills
· Ability to work independently and as part of a team
· Team player with the ability to work well with team in respective province and other provinces.
· Well organised and able to prioritise workload.
